Article Processing Charges (APC) & Waiver Policy
International Research Stars is an independent organization dedicated to the global dissemination of high-quality research. To maintain our commitment to Open Access, we require a Journal Maintenance Charge, commonly known as an Article Processing Charge (APC).
Fee Structure
The APC is set at a flat rate of ₹5,000. To ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process, authors are only required to pay this fee after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
This fee directly supports the following essential services:
Online Hosting & Maintenance: Ensuring permanent, 24/7 access to your research.
Peer Review Coordination: Managing the rigorous evaluation of your work.
DOI Assignment: Providing a permanent Digital Object Identifier for global indexing and citation tracking.
Administrative Costs: Supporting the editorial workflow and publication logistics.
APC Waiver Requests
We believe that financial constraints should not be a barrier to publishing exceptional science. Authors of high-quality papers may apply for an APC Waiver.
Guidelines for Waiver Requests:
Timing: The request must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief at the initial time of submission.
Criteria: Waivers are not guaranteed and are granted based solely on the Reviewers’ recommendations regarding the manuscript’s quality and impact.
Process: If the reviewers highlight the work as exemplary, the editorial board will review the fee reduction or waiver request.
