Faculty Development Programme is a graduate level and certificate course.The candidates those who are interested to take up this course must possess any of the following criteria like graduation or teaching faculty or post-graduation.Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is a course that is aimed at enhancing the teaching and research skills of candidates and future teachers, researchers, and trainers.Faculty Development programs strengthen the professional development of the faculty members and administrators who deal directly with students. Our goal is to help these educators increase the effectiveness of their teaching, especially in undergraduate programs, so that they are better able to guide students on journeys of inquiry and discovery.The UGC / AICThas been making proactive efforts to upgrade the knowledge and skills of faculty members in the institutions of higher education. For the purpose of organising Faculty Development Program / orientation and refresher courses for in service faculty members, the UGC / AICT has established and funds a network of event organisation Institutions across the country. Faculty Development programme aims at training teachers, researchers, and trainers working in business schools or any other professional institution. It is a similarly used term for the development of staff and professionals, in settings that pertain to educators. This may include teacher training and is usually considered pre-requisite before beginning teaching.On completion of Faculty Development Programme course, the candidates can have a wide range of career opportunities in the field of areas like schools, colleges, and universities, student training courses, etc.
