Issue Summary

This paper examines the persistent 'glass ceiling' phenomenon hindering women's career advancement. Despite legal equality, women face invisible barriers in professional settings. The study highlights work-life balance challenges, internalized patriarchy, and societal expectations as key obstacles. It emphasizes the importance of mentorship, support networks, and collective action among women to overcome these barriers. The authors argue for a paradigm shift in addressing gender equality in the workplace, urging women who break the ceiling to pave the way for others. The paper concludes that while progress has been made, significant challenges remain, calling for continued efforts to shatter the glass ceiling and achieve true gender parity in professional spheres.
